Adorable Pups Have Special Abilities to Help Gameplay; Pets are Collected and Customized

Los Angeles, CA (July 17, 2019) The world of Cookie Jam will never be the same as Chef Panda adopts a basketful of very special pets to be his baking assistants. Jam City’s wildly popular match-three game is introducing ‘Pet Powers’, adorable pups that accompany and assist players as they adventure through the World of Cookie Jam. ‘Pet Powers’ is the newest addition to Cookie Jam, Jam City’s global franchise which has generated more than $625 million since the game launched.

“Pets in Cookie Jam are going to be your new best friend!” said Joseph Young, Director of Product Management for Jam City’s Cookie Jam franchise. “They help you beat levels and look adorable doing it! We can’t wait to see the outfits our players put together for Buzz, Coco, and Checkers.”

Cookie Jam’s three new adorable pets each have their own personality and abilities to help players level-up within the game. Buzz the Beagle places Jelly Bees on the board; Coco the Pug breaks layers of chocolate, and Checkers the Husky collects tasty waffles. In the game, as players make matches of any color, it fills the pet’s power meter. When the meter is filled, the pet jumps up and executes its special ability.

Pet costumes are also available to dress your adorable pets. Players can customize their look with clothing, hats, and glasses. Pet costume tokens appear in the game which players can collect by matching next to the token and successfully beating the level. Once a player has enough tokens, costume pieces are unlocked and available for all pets to wear!

More pets and costumes will be introduced in the coming months.
