LA Games Conference was held on May 7th, 2019 at the W Hotel in Hollywood. Josh Yguado, Jam City’s President & Co-Founder, keynoted the event. Focusing on the Future of Games and Entertainment, Josh spoke with Ned Sherman about Jam City’s newest IP’s and the world of the game development in Hollywood.
Later in the day, Lisa Anderson, SVP of Studio Operations, joined the Power of Diversity: Women in Gaming panel to discuss “the challenges and opportunities to create a more balanced workforce and development teams that reflect the diversity of gamer culture and the population as a whole.” Jam City employees also joined the LA Games Conference Women’s Breakfast earlier in the day to network and learn from other women in gaming and VR.
Rob Zakari, EVP Corporate Development & General Counsel, joined the conversation at the Licensing & Games Panel. The panel focused on “licensing in entertainment content for video game development and licensing out video game franchises for consumer products.”
Jam City also hosted the Speakers’ Dinner the night before the conference at our Culver City Headquarters.
